At the April 13 Hidden Lake Association meeting, committee directors provided operational updates on recreation, waterfront and roads and reviewed several old-business items.
Mikki Falcone, recreation director, said the pool house repair work is nearly complete and the board is reviewing stair options. Vendor Clearwater will repair the pool ladder and open the pool on May 8. The board plans to enforce a rule requiring swimmers to shower before entering the pool. Falcone and the board discussed mailbox logistics; there are currently 158 mailboxes and the board will follow up with Joe M., the regional postmaster, about potential cluster-box units and space needs. The pool house water will be turned on once weather allows (late April or early May).
Fred Pasler, waterfront director, reported that boards went in recently and the lake should begin to rise. Docks are scheduled to be installed on May 2; the association will require payment by May 1 to reserve boat slips. Joe Traniello, road director, reported that weight-limit signs were removed and provided a grading timing estimate of mid-June; President Chris Vachon will follow up with Chris Carter about scheduling.
Under old business, Chris Vachon said Eversource will perform tree- and vegetation-clearing around telephone poles (approximate clearing area described in the minutes) with work estimated to begin in mid-May. The association mailing went out with four items returned to sender; Vachon said he will follow up on those returns. The HLA sign has been ordered. The board set the next meeting for May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Rossi Hall and adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m.
