Council reports garden repairs, ordered lift-station fence and declines life station installation

Council discussed a request to install a life station at the Joyner residence and decided not to install one because of legalities and liability concerns. Brenda Sells told the council she will present options and cost information for lift-station work at the next meeting.
Lance Sikes raised a comparison showing a Lyons resident received a lower water and sewage bill than the city's current bills; the council discussed the discrepancy and possible causes. The meeting minutes record routine administrative actions (shelf and safe installed in the office) and adjournment with no further motions on maintenance items.
