Parks & Recreation board approves March minutes, outlines 2026 events including PA250 market

The Charlestown Township Parks & Recreation Board approved the minutes from its March 19, 2026 meeting after a motion by Member John Kulp and a second by Member Jared McFadden. The vote was 3–0 with two members absent.
Presenter Stephanie Robinson then reviewed the board’s 2026 events calendar. Scheduled events include a Wildflower Walk on April 26 at 10:00 a.m. on the Pickering Trail; a Spring Trail Clean‑up on May 23 at 10:00 a.m.; a Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25 at Charlestown Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.; summer concerts on June 25 and Aug. 13 at Charlestown Park at 7:00 p.m.; and the Charlestown Fall Festival on Oct. 17 at 11:00 a.m. Robinson also noted the PA250 Charles Towne Market is planned for July 18 at Brightside Farm Park.
Robinson said vendor tables are available for the PA250 market and asked interested parties to contact charlestownpa250@gmail.com; vendor tables are $20. The board provided these calendar items as part of routine event planning and did not take further formal action on them at the meeting.
The meeting adjourned after business was concluded.
