KELLIHER, Minn. — At the Aug. 8 meeting, Principal Sherri Dahl told the board the district submitted its BASC and ADSIS project applications and that the district’s Title application has been accepted.
Dahl said the workshop‑week agenda was being finalized for staff, and she noted that Dean of Students Dan Alto will hold a Cell Phone Policy meeting with students and parents on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 6:00 p.m. during Open House.
The board heard the updates as part of the principal’s report; the program application submissions and Title acceptance position the district to receive program support pending standard state or federal administrative steps (grants and program approvals were not discussed in detail in the minutes).
In the Directors’ Forum earlier in the meeting, Director Dawn Jensen commended the summer custodial staff for the building’s cleaning and upkeep, an operational note the board acknowledged.
The board will next convene on Sept. 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the school media center.
