HAPOC schedules annual meeting, dunes clean‑up and begins election process

At the close of its May 24 meeting, the HAPOC Board of Governors scheduled several community events and set next steps for board elections.
Chair Paddy Richards announced the HAPOC annual meeting will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the HA Beach Club. The board also scheduled the annual dunes clean‑up for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., to meet at the Pine Reach cul‑de‑sac.
Jeff Jacobs and Paddy Richards are due to leave their board seats in 2025; Pete Partridge will again chair the nominating committee to fill those positions during August and September. Paddy Richards reviewed the Block W Beach Ambassador schedule for summer 2025: Fridays through Sundays in June and six days a week excluding Mondays in July and August.
David Richards refurbished the Pierce Mills recognition plaque at the Rolling Road beach path entrance, and the plaque will be reinstalled soon. Chair Richards adjourned the meeting at 11:23 a.m.
