Truman council approves routine business, accepts $950 MNOSHA safety grant

The Truman City Council handled routine procedural business at its Dec. 1 meeting, approving the agenda and the Nov. 17 minutes early in the session (motions by Councilor Chris Mosloski, seconded by Chad Truax). Mayor Jake Ebert and Councilors Mosloski, Danielle Williams and Chad Truax were recorded as present at the start; Councilor Ron Kelley was absent.
During the meeting the council adopted Resolution 2025‑50 to accept a Minnesota OSHA safety grant of $950 (motion by Mosloski, seconded by Truax). The council approved the October 2025 financial statements and then recorded that Council Member Chad Truax left the meeting at 5:54 p.m. After Truax’s departure the council approved payment of claims totaling $67,848.21 (checks #43285–#43315 and ACH items listed), and approved renewal of refuse licenses for five haulers and tobacco licenses for Casey’s General Store and Dollar General. All recorded motions were described in the minutes as "all ayes" and carried.
A motion to adjourn (Mosloski/Williams) carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:28 p.m. The council will consider adoption of the 2026 budget and levy at its Dec. 15 meeting.
