The Tree Allies voted unanimously Oct. 8 to approve amended minutes from their September meeting and to add resident Grace Brenzek as a new member of the group.
President Mallory Abel moved to approve the minutes as amended to correct name typos; Linda Straub seconded and the motion passed 4-0, with Bernie Denning, Mallory Abel, Heidi Boyle and Linda Straub recorded as yes votes. Later in the meeting, Linda moved to approve Grace Brenzek as a new member; Mallory seconded and that motion also passed 4-0. Mike Beam noted the town council may need to formally approve Brenzek’s appointment.
The meeting record shows attendance by Mike Beam, Tim Lambard, Grace Brenzek, Bernie Denning, Mallory Abel, Heidi Boyle (online), Linda Straub and Kim Sauro. The group closed with brief recognition of members’ help at recent outreach events and adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
