Two Harbors council approves consent agenda, park and trail projects and Urban Forest plan contract

Trail and utilities: the Finance Committee recommended, and the council approved, moving forward with paving the trail between the Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant and approved the Gas, Sewer and Water superintendent’s request to add up to $27,000 to the Gas Main Loop Project (RES 06‑283‑25 and RES 06‑284‑25).
Urban Forest Management Plan: the council approved a $38,207 proposal from Eocene for an updated Urban Forest Management Plan and authorized the city administrator and mayor to enter a contract for the work (RES 06‑293‑25). The Trees and Trails Committee previously reported 58 properties were identified as candidates for tree plantings under the ReLeaf Grant.
