Director Kit Johnston moved to approve the June 12, 2025 minutes; Directors Johnston, Mary Starrett and David Bubba King voted aye and the motion passed. The board then considered COSSD-05-07-26-2, a recommendation to appoint Mike Saunders to the Cove Orchard Sewer Service District budget committee for a three-year term to expire May 7, 2029. Director David Bubba King moved approval; the board voted Johnston, Starrett and King aye and the appointment was approved.
Director David Bubba King confirmed that one vacancy on the COSSD budget committee remains. County staff in attendance included Ken Huffer, County Administrator; Mark Lago, Public Works Director; and BOC staff members Cale George and Bailey Barnhart, the district secretary. The record shows Director Johnston called the meeting to order at 9:46 a.m.; the session adjourned at 9:48 a.m.
