County awards 242.4-acre agricultural lease to highest bidder

The board confirmed each bidder supplied the required certificate of liability insurance. By motion and second, the board awarded the lease to Skilman; the vote was unanimous.
The clerk said the next step is to prepare an agreement reflecting the agreed terms and have the winning bidder sign before the board executes the lease agreement in a subsequent meeting. The bid packet and example lease used last year remain on file for reference.
