The council meeting on July 9, 2024, recorded that the DDA appointments name Angie Peaster, Linda Barfield and Taylor Stephens to six-year terms; Austin Bradley, Vic Clark and Jess Bernhardt to four-year terms; and Ondrea Zink and Page Thornton to two-year terms. The minutes state that “each member has met the qualifications to serve on the Montezuma DDA according to the City of Montezuma ordinance.”
The minutes record that Council Member Daniel Porter made the motion to accept the items on the consent agenda, which included ratifying the phone poll that approved the DDA appointments. The motion was seconded by Council Members Charles Ivey and Cleveland Hobbs, and the vote was recorded as unanimous.
