Ardentown makes several committee appointments and elects a new town secretary
Summary
Trustees approved the re-election of Maura Lynch to the Archives Committee and elected Jessica Riggleman as Town Secretary effective March 2025; other elections were deferred to the May meeting.
At the Feb. 10 meeting the trustees addressed several elections and appointments.
Archives: Two positions were listed for the Archives committee. Allen Kleban was not present and the minutes state that the Archives election for his seat will occur at the May 2025 meeting. The trustees approved a motion to re-elect Maura Lynch to the Archives Committee for a Feb. 2025–Feb. 2027 term; the motion was seconded and the minutes record "All in Favor."
Memorial Garden: Three positions (Cheryl Regan, Barbara Mondzelewski, Edmond Bischoff) were listed; because the incumbents were not in attendance their elections were deferred to the May 2025 meeting.
Town Secretary: Jessica Riggleman volunteered to fill the open Town Secretary officer position effective March 2025. A motion to elect Riggleman to the Town Secretary position for the current term ending Nov. 2027 was made, seconded and recorded as "All in favor." The minutes list Jessica Riggleman as the meeting’s minutes submitter.
The minutes do not record roll-call tallies for the elections noted as "All in favor." Upcoming May elections were listed for Audit, Playground and Public Works & Safety committees.
