The Village of New Bremen council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve its consent agenda, including a finance report that showed April expenditures of $1,313,017.97 and a transfer of $1,000,000 to the Star Ohio account.
Council member Larger moved to approve the consent agenda, which also included approval of the agenda and the minutes from the April 13, 2026 regular meeting. Councilman Condon seconded the motion; the vote was six in favor, none opposed.
Larger told the council the finance committee had reviewed March bank reconciliations and that total receipts for March were $2,087,608.61. The council authorized moving excess cash—$1,000,000—to the Star Ohio investment account as part of the finance report.
The items were adopted as part of routine business; the meeting continued with the mayor’s report and administrative updates. The council adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
