Greg Burke, representing Keep Glendo Great, gave the council an overview of the committee's recent work on beautification, grant-funded projects, decorations and community events.
Councilmember Kelly Jones reported on last Saturday's Mini Fly-In at the town airport, saying 19 planes attended and praising airport maintenance and volunteers. Jones proposed revisiting the idea of making a restroom available all summer to support future events and noted a grant is available for advertising (newspapers and radio) and that a posted schedule for future fly-ins has been created.
The council thanked volunteers and partners; no formal action was taken at the meeting on airport facilities funding or restroom construction. Jones asked the council to consider the idea going forward.
