City Manager Mr. Albbright told the council on Feb. 19 that the McCrae House move to Logan Farm Park was successful and that the city anticipates completing its portion of the project by May.
“...we hope to have our end, the city's in done, uh, sometime in the May time frame. And then from there, the tenant will go in and do the tenant build out,” Mr. Albbright said, describing the timeline for final work and tenant improvements. He also commended staff across departments — public works, police and power — for assistance with the relocation.
Board members said crews will remove remaining structures at the McCrae site next week. If the schedule holds, the city expects tenant improvements and a summer opening for Bizaar Coffee at the Logan Farm Park site.
