Council members reported progress on multiple park improvements during the June 2 meeting. The council instructed staff (Steve, Billy) to inspect the water-tower site for camera coverage and suitability and approved a motion to let staff identify a final location and report back.
The council also reviewed an invoice included in the packet (amount referenced as $2,500) related to park work and moved to pay the invoice; the motion carried. Members discussed a contractor quote for electrical work and reiterated the town's spending limit for the broader electrical upgrade project.
Other routine items included billing adjustments and approval of pool-fill charges that occurred before the start of summer sprinkler rates. The meeting closed after staff noted remaining items and residents raised tree-limb and alley maintenance concerns.
