Council also authorized staff to solicit bids to repave North Shore Drive.
Council approved a Chamber-backed 'Bike Nights' program for first and third Sundays (June–August) with a one-block street closure, conditioned on the Chamber holding insurance and managing barricades. The Lakes Association was granted permission for a temporary dock and a family fundraiser event at the swimming beach.
These actions advance near-term maintenance and community-event plans; staff identified a separate $24,000 Small Cities assistance allocation to be applied to streets as available.
