Warroad council approves parking change and local procurement for electric department

Council also reviewed two bids for a new pickup for the electric department and, following the Utility Commission recommendation to stay local, directed Trosen to finalize price negotiations with Neighbors Chevrolet and purchase the vehicle locally (motion by Councilor Joe Olafson). Finally, one bid was received for the 2026 equipment requests and the council awarded that bid to Andrew J. Stoskopf Trucking on a motion by Councilor Dean Dorholt.
