Council Member Cindy Bone made the motion and Jenny Buley seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The council also approved a contract renewal with planning and development consultant Jerry Weitz. Council Member Cindy Bone moved to approve the renewal; Tom Hays seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
A budget amendment to fund septic system repairs at City Hall and at Arcade City Park was approved by motion of Cindy Bone, seconded by Tom Hays, and passed unanimously. The minutes record that the park septic tank and the city office septic tank had recently been pumped due to septic issues; the budget amendment covers repairs but the minutes do not list a dollar amount.
Other procedural items approved unanimously included the April 14 minutes and formal adjournment of the meeting.
