Councilors said the group had already held an April meeting with county and township officials to review concerns and that the next step is a collaboratively drafted letter for each jurisdiction’s approval.
The city did not adopt final letter language at the meeting; it voted to participate in preparing and approving a joint submittal as part of intergovernmental coordination with county and township partners.
