Warroad council approves $10,000 GIS update, Yeti Fest and several bingo permits

Councilor Michele Vandal moved to authorize the update at a cost of $10,000, with the cost split among the utilities. Councilor Kevin Thompson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
The council also approved the appointment of Warroad Housing Authority board members as presented. On events, the council approved All-In Warroad's special event application for Yeti Fest on March 14, 2026, and approved a bingo event by All-In Warroad at the Hampton Inn on March 12, 2026. The council approved Warroad Community Development's bingo application for three dates at the Hampton Inn and the Warroad Women of Today’s application for an exempt bingo permit for three dates; the minutes record approval but do not list the specific dates for the multi-date permits.
All motions recorded in the minutes carried unanimously.
