The Warroad City Council on Feb. 9 unanimously approved February 2026 checks totaling $949,431.99 and authorized wage adjustments for the Police and Utility departments.
Councilor Michele Vandal moved to approve the checks, which the minutes list as E3983-3997 = $47,863.59; AP #56392-56454 = $300,283.37; PR #10286-10288 = $6,442.68; PR E#515263 = $51,889.42; NMPA #20260131 = $460,486.85; Sales Tax #01312026 = $49,834.00; and Health Insurance #202602 = $32,632.08. Councilor Kevin Thompson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Separately, Councilor Vandal moved to authorize the previously discussed wage adjustments for the Police Department and the Utility Department; Councilor Joe Olafson seconded and the motion also passed unanimously. The minutes record the council authorized the adjustments “as presented,” but do not list specific dollar amounts or effective dates.
The council reviewed the January 2026 revenue and expense summary and took no action.
The meeting adjourned at 4:42 p.m.
