Warroad council accepts 2026 mosquito-spraying proposal, approves firefighters' raffle permit

Councilor Michele Vandal moved to accept the 2026 mosquito-spraying proposal as presented, with Northern Minnesota Mosquito Control excluding the minnow cost listed in the proposal; Councilor Joe Olafson seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
Separately, Councilor Vandal moved to approve the Warroad Area Firefighters Relief Association's application for a raffle to be held June 6, 2026 at Allison Park. Councilor Dean Dorholt seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes do not record the raffle's prize structure, estimated proceeds, or any conditions attached to permit approval.
