On March 10 the Arcade City Council unanimously adopted a Budget Amendment Ordinance and approved a resolution to open a new escrow bank account to receive water and sewer development transactions.
Council Member Cindy Bone moved to approve the Budget Amendment Ordinance; Council Member Ron Smith seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The council also approved a resolution to establish an escrow account specifically for water and sewer development transactions, a step the minutes record as passed without opposition.
Separately, the council approved a $200 contribution requested by Debra Stewart to sponsor her grandson Nick Carpenter’s East Jackson High School Dugout Club. Council Member Cindy Bone moved and Tom Hays seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
