Lake Ridge New Tech Schools board approves payroll, minutes, professional development and personnel items (4-0)

The board approved accounts payable vouchers and payrolls for Aug. 28–29 and Sept. 5, 2025; minutes from the Aug. 25 meeting; the recommended professional development plan; resignation and employment recommendations; and a list of non‑resident student transfers, donations and fundraisers. Where recorded, votes were four yays and zero nays.
Board members thanked donors for contributions to district programs and noted staff are working to fill vacancies identified in the personnel report. No contested or substantive policy changes were made during these approvals.
Why this matters: these routine approvals clear payroll, vendor payments and personnel actions and allow the district to continue operations. The personnel approvals also set the stage for upcoming hiring to replace resignations.
