Councilor Naomi Larson moved to hire Elijah Muir and Isaac Gustafson as part‑time fill‑in baseball coaches at $13.43 per hour; the motion was seconded by Councilor Kevin Waller and carried unanimously.
Administrator Kendra Kroening raised a separate question about third‑party swim lessons; past minutes did not show a clear agreement and previous correspondence suggested the City of Lamberton would not allow such arrangements if they supplanted services city staff provide. Legal recommended a written agreement specifying that the contractor’s insurance is primary; councilors elected to table final action until staff can locate prior decisions and confirm insurance arrangements.
