The Hanska City Council voted on Oct. 14 to designate City Clerk Karen Haala, Mayor Daniel Vee and Council member Ian Kjelshus as authorized signers on the city’s financial accounts and to remove Cinnamon Moldan and Mark Strom from those accounts.
The motion to change account signers was made by Council member Larson and seconded by Council member Ian Kjelshus; the council approved the change. The council also completed routine business: Council member Ian Kjelshus moved to approve the meeting agenda (seconded by Council member Larson), and the motion carried. Council member Ian Kjelshus and Council member Larson approved the Sept. 9 regular meeting minutes, and Council member Miller moved (seconded by Larson) to approve minutes from the Sept. 23 special meeting. Council member Miller moved to approve city claims, seconded by Council member Larson; that motion also passed.
City Clerk Karen Haala is now listed among authorized signers, a change the council approved without recorded roll-call tallies. The meeting record shows the decisions were made by motion and voice vote; no formal vote counts were announced in the transcript.
The council adjourned at 6:31 p.m.
Next procedural steps: the meeting minutes and updates to bank signatory records will be processed by the city clerk’s office as part of routine administrative follow-up.
