Hanover EDA: inaugural photo contest credited with positive community response

Nash said the contest "promoted a positive mindset about being in Hanover," engaged many residents with the City's communication channels and produced images the city and EDA can use for future marketing. EDA members described the project as an "excellent low-cost and high-impact City marketing project" and expressed support for repeating the contest in 2026 with a broader solicitation of images from all seasons. Nash noted one comment suggesting that only one finalist image be allowed per person.
The EDA did not record any formal vote on the contest recap; members expressed general support and asked staff to consider adjustments for next year.
