The Hanover Economic Development Authority on June 20 approved routine procedural items — including the agenda, the May 15 meeting minutes and accounts payable — and heard reports on promotional efforts and park repairs.
Treasurer Jessica Johnson reviewed the EDA financial reports and said all loan payments are current. Johnson moved to approve the accounts payable and financial reports; Todd Bartels seconded and the board voted unanimously to adopt the reports.
City Administrator Jennifer Nash updated members that a community photo contest is underway for submissions, and Johnson noted the EDA promotional Yeti mugs have been received. Member John Ganfield said he is obtaining estimates for plans and construction costs to remodel the Settler Park pavilion, which the minutes identify as in need of repairs and updates. Chair Sam Rudie said he would like the EDA to plan a business social event this fall to engage local businesses.
Todd Bartels moved and Brian Dismang seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:12 a.m.; the motion carried unanimously.
