Commissioner Cody Vojacek moved to recommend approval; Commissioner Chad Olson seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The commission’s action was a recommendation to the City Council rather than a final adoption.
The ordinance was described on the agenda as a set of general updates that include cannabis-related provisions and technical edits to site-plan and survey rules. The commission did not take any amendments at the July 28 meeting and recorded no public objections.
The next procedural step is for the City Council to consider the planning commission’s recommendation at a future meeting.
