Harmony EDA: Fitzgerald Construction accepted Phase II bid; staff to meet MnDOT on site Nov. 18

Meghan Gill and City Administrator Alissa Stelpflug reported at the Nov. 7 EDA meeting that Fitzgerald Construction accepted the Phase II bid for the Harmony bike trail.
Gill and Stelpflug said they will meet with Minnesota Department of Transportation representatives on Nov. 18 to visit the trail site, review next steps, double-check budget alignment and determine whether any nearby landowners require contact. Staff emphasized the need to ensure the project stays within budget and to confirm property-rights or easement needs before construction begins next spring.
No further actions were taken at the Nov. 7 meeting; staff will report outcomes of the MnDOT site visit back to the EDA.
