The Millinocket Public Schools board voted to adopt the Oct. 8, 2024 meeting minutes and authorized the superintendent to issue several payroll and accounts warrants, the board said.
"I move to approve the minutes of school board meeting October 8th 2024," Kevin Gregory said during the motion to adopt the minutes. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
Board members then directed the superintendent to authorize payment by the town treasurer for a set of payroll warrants and accounts listed at the meeting. The warrants and student-account payments were read into the record on several dates in late September and October; the transcript contains multiple line items, some with partial numeric transcription. The board recorded the payments as presented and voiced approval.
The board also approved personnel notifications and several revised job descriptions, including library educational-technology positions. Members noted those descriptions were updated in consultation with current employees.
There was no public comment. After reports and routine business, a motion to adjourn passed and the meeting ended.
