Commission approves minutes, requests driveway/cullvert policy estimate and orders trailer removal

The Harris Planning Commission approved the Regular Meeting Minutes of April 28, 2025 at its May 28 meeting. Commissioner Shari Denny moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner Neil Elmquist seconded; the motion carried with all present voting in favor.
City Planner Claire Stickler suggested the City Engineer draft a Driveway and Culvert Policy for Commission review. City Clerk Shannon Geier said she has consulted with the engineer and will present a cost estimate to the City Council.
The Commission also authorized sending a letter to the owner of parcel PID 14.001888.00 requesting removal of trailers and buildings adjacent to the Forest Boulevard recycling area by July 1, 2025.
Commissioner Al Siedow moved to adjourn at 8:40 p.m.; Commissioner Neil Elmquist seconded and the motion carried.
