Staff reported that an application for a Conditional Use Permit from Johnny Mold was received but that the required application fee and escrow payment were submitted too late for inclusion on the March 24 agenda.
Commissioners discussed that one of the property's pole buildings may be used as a residence and requested the Chisago County Zoning Department conduct an inspection to determine whether the structure is being used as a dwelling. The Commission directed staff to proceed with the CUP application process and scheduled a public hearing for the May meeting.
No formal action on the CUP was taken at the March meeting because of the late fee and escrow; the public hearing will provide an opportunity for testimony and final consideration.
