Staff recommended the $22,000 award after soliciting three quotes; the next highest quote was $33,500 and another proposal was $64,800. Council approved the contract and staff said they would move forward with scheduling stakeholder interviews and public open houses.
Next steps: Staff and the consultant will begin outreach, assemble the steering committee (to be approved by mayor and council) and schedule public open houses and surveys as part of the comprehensive‑plan timeline.
