The Board of Selectmen opened a public hearing May 18 on a discretionary preservation-easement renewal for property at Map 9, Lot 34-01.
Vice Chair Peter Torosian made the motion to open the hearing and resident Justine Corson provided comments regarding the Maple Avenue easement application. After the hearing, Selectman Paul Wainwright moved to close the public hearing. Later during the meeting Vice Chair Torosian made a motion to table the easement renewal until further information is obtained; the motion carried unanimously.
The board did not take final action on the easement renewal and directed town staff to obtain additional information from the applicant before scheduling further consideration.
