The board approved the purchase of Motorola radios from Radios Solutions for $7,341.70; that motion also passed 4–0–1 with Vice Chair Torosian abstaining. The board accepted Industrial Traffic Lines' bid of $21,667.65 for road line striping and authorized funding: $19,591.65 from Line 43120.875.00 and $2,075.35 from excess paving funds.
Selectmen also approved awarding the Sprinkler & Extinguisher Inspection contract to Hampshire Fire Inspection (vote recorded with Selectman Paul Wainwright not present) and granted DPW Director Ted Stewart permission to place flags on Main Street. A request to include a flyer about the town's automated tax process with tax bills was approved.
The board recorded a unanimous vote to approve a cemetery plot buyback payment of $1,350. The meeting included routine approvals such as minutes and a $230 donation to the Elder Services Transportation Fund.
