St. James EDA approves minutes and financial report; Commercial Revitalization funds disbursed to local restaurant

The St. James Economic Development Authority took several procedural actions at its March 10 meeting.
A motion by Travis Elg, seconded by Mark Collier, approved the minutes of the Feb. 10, 2026 meeting. The vote is recorded as MC 3-0 with Lisa Rodriguez abstaining.
Economic Development Director Brianna Sanders presented the financial report, which noted that Commercial Revitalization funds had been disbursed to the Hickory Bar and Grill. Sanders also said the EDA board could transfer funding from SCDP Fund 237 if another application to the Commercial Revitalization Program is received; the transcript does not state dollar amounts.
