Park Board approves updated RFP to replace windows and doors

City Manager Amanda Knoll presented an updated request for proposals to replace windows and doors for a city facility and the Park Board voted to publish the RFP with revised deadlines and scope.
The board approved changing the submission deadline from April 8 to April 30 and extending the project's completion date from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15. The RFP scope was updated to specify nine large wide windows, two large narrow windows, four windows above the doors and replacement of four doors. Language requiring energy efficiency and insulation was removed, and language was added requiring the new trim to match the existing siding and trim aesthetic.
Motion by Lonnie Stresemann, seconded by Kathleen Hanson, to approve the RFP for publication with the updated verbiage; the motion was declared to have passed. The transcript does not record a roll-call vote or a numerical tally.
