Pine County approves $172,284 replacement of county records backup servers

County officials said the servers are used to create immutable backups of documents recorded by the Recorder’s Office; the replacement is intended to ensure continued, tamper-resistant archival storage. The motion did not specify a contract number; staff were authorized to complete procurement through ISC under the approved amount. The board did not request further delay or additional bids at the meeting.
The board’s action follows a Technology Committee review and is intended to prevent a lapse in long‑term backup support when current equipment reaches end-of-life in early 2027.
