Representatives from the Cambridge Museum and the Historical Preservation Commission met with the Washington County Board of Commissioners on June 15 to request county financial support for the 2027 budget.
Brandie Lincoln provided an overview of the Cambridge Museum’s annual expenditures and grant use and asked the Board for $2,500 in county support for 2027. Tony Edmondson, representing the Historical Preservation Commission, requested $3,500 and recommended increasing commission membership from five to nine to broaden capacity.
No appropriation vote was taken; the requests were recorded for budget consideration during the county’s 2027 budget process.
