Concerns were raised about whether the council maintains a bank account or checkbook to accept direct payments; supervisors asked staff to check with Lisa and other stakeholders and to coordinate with neighboring-county supervisors (Mitchell and Floyd) before making a final allocation decision in July.
The board also discussed administrator PTO payout timing tied to closeout and noted current money will be returned at the end of June to JCS and HHS as part of contract wind-downs. No final allocation decisions were made; supervisors planned additional meetings and a July follow-up to determine where the funds will be directed.
