During its June 15 meeting the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors approved several routine fiscal items, including employee salaries for FY 2026–27, a reimbursement to the Pioneer Cemetery Association, payroll processing, and county claims.
A motion by Supervisor Carter, seconded by Supervisor Suckow, approved FY 2026–27 employee salaries and wages; the minutes record the vote as all ayes. The board approved a $1,280.00 reimbursement to Pioneer Cemetery for the sale of a trailer (motion by Breitbach, seconded by Carter) and approved prior bills in the amount of $3,594.96 (motion by Cerwinske, seconded by Suckow).
The board also approved claims in the amount of $600,553.51 (motion by Breitbach, seconded by Suckow; minutes record roll call all ayes). The meeting record includes a separate, itemized county claims listing (SEG 003–004) that documents detailed line items and shows a grand total of $638,110.84 at the bottom of that listing. The minutes do not explain the discrepancy between the $600,553.51 figure recorded when the board approved claims and the $638,110.84 grand total in the attached claims listing.
The minutes provide the claims listing as a record of items charged to county accounts (SEG 003–004); they do not show further discussion or identify adjustments that would reconcile the two totals in the meeting record.
