The Richmond Hill Planning Commission on March 9 recommended approval of a conditional‑use request from PS Southeast Two, LLC to operate an indoor self‑storage facility at 3035 U.S. Hwy 17 (parcel 053‑018‑01).
Director Brian Crooks told commissioners staff found the proposal met applicable standards and design requirements. The proposed project would include seven single‑story buildings, one of which would house an office, and staff said the design complies with Gateway Overlay criteria.
Commissioner Charles Blanks moved to recommend approval of the conditional use; Commissioner Chris Raiford seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
The commission’s recommendation will be forwarded through the city’s review process for any subsequent council action or permitting steps.
