The St. Charles Parish School Board announced a public hearing on its proposed 2026–2027 fiscal year budget will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the board room of the St. Charles Parish Public School Central Office, the clerk said.
The clerk said, “Public hearing on the proposed 2026-2027 fiscal year budget will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the board room of the St. Charles Parish Public School Central Office.” Copies of the proposed budget are available for inspection at the St. Charles Parish School Board Office between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, the clerk added.
The clerk announced that members of the public would be allowed three minutes per speaker during the public comment period; after a brief pause with no substantive remarks the clerk closed public comment. The clerk told attendees that the budget item would appear on the board agenda later that evening for a vote at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting ended after a board member moved to adjourn and another seconded. The clerk recorded the motion as being made by Ms. Boudreaux and seconded by Mr. Gregson and declared the meeting adjourned.
