The council then recessed for an executive session to meet with the city attorney; the mayor reported that no votes occurred in the closed session and that an affidavit/resolution documenting the session will be included in the minutes.
Before adjourning, council members announced a called meeting for Thursday at 10 a.m. to discuss a proposed senior exemption, and encouraged residents to attend.
