Council discussed whether to keep the charter text and how a changed shape or reduced text area could let the sign be raised for visibility without losing the logo. Staff and the vendor said the signs would be modular so individual faces or posts could be replaced without replacing the entire unit; the material carries a manufacturer warranty for fading and breakage, the presenter said.
Members asked Adam to draft a few variations in shape and scale for review at the next meeting and to return with updated unit pricing and installation costs. The council did not vote on the project at the session; members indicated a preference to obtain revised designs and more specific cost breakdowns before any procurement.
