ADRC committee appoints Linnaea Newman vice chair, accepts Town of Nokomis donation for Nokomis dining site

The Oneida County Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee unanimously appointed Ms. Linnaea Newman as vice chair and accepted a $2,223.65 donation from the Town of Nokomis designated for the Nokomis dining site during its meeting on May 26, 2026.
The meeting opened at 9:00 a.m. in the ADRC Balsam Room with Chair Ms. Debbie Condado presiding. The committee voted unanimously to approve the meeting agenda on a motion by Ms. Linnaea Newman, seconded by Ms. Melanie Fralick. Ms. Linnaea Newman then moved to approve the April 27, 2026 minutes; Ms. Joan Hauer seconded and the motion carried with no corrections.
ADRC staff member Ms. Mya Olkowski asked for volunteers to serve as vice chair; Ms. Linnaea Newman volunteered and the committee voted unanimously to appoint her to the role. There was no recorded opposition.
Ms. Olkowski also introduced a resolution to accept a $2,223.65 donation from the Town of Nokomis for the Nokomis dining site meal costs. Ms. Melanie Fralick moved the resolution and Ms. Joan Hauer seconded; the committee approved the resolution unanimously. The committee noted the resolution will be signed by ADRC Committee members after the meeting.
