On June 18 the Brown County Commissioners held a work session at the courthouse to review equipment needs and early budget planning for 2027. Attendees included Chairman Lucas Heinen, Commissioner Richard Tesoriero, Commissioner William Pollock, County Clerk Nicole Lee and Scot Loyd.
Discussion topics included a Solid Waste backhoe, the first draft of the 2027 county budget, county cash reserves and the County Vehicle Policy. The minutes state no formal actions were taken. The work session adjourned at 12:30 p.m.; the next scheduled public engagement is ‘Coffee with the Commissioners’ on June 25, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bruning Barn.
Because no votes were recorded, items discussed will require formal agenda placement before the board can take action.
