Loganville DDA signs off on training travel caps and moves forward on website plan

The Loganville Downtown Development Authority authorized travel and registration budgets for members to attend the Georgia Downtown Association conference in Gainesville (Aug. 25–28).
By motion, the board approved spending caps of up to $1,500 per person for members who stay overnight and up to $850 for members who travel as day trips; the motion passed by voice vote. Members discussed strategies to reduce cost (some will attend only the free training days) and agreed that staff could register attendees and check availability for the limited advanced training slot.
Separately, the board reviewed a proposed website structure and a QR mockup created by Tara. Members agreed that city staffer Kyle could build the site; Tara volunteered to email Kyle to begin work and asked that a full mockup be shared with the board before launch.
